Not quite possible. Springtrap was stored in the sealed-off break room from Fredbear's, so there's no way Phone Guy could've obtained Springtrap, since he was working at Freddy Fazbear's instead. In any case, Phone Guy mentions there's a suit backstage, as that's the suit Phone Guy mentions in the call. When Purple Guy is ambushed he's probably in the break room.
 
FNAF4 Confirmed. Scott Cawthon's taking "Nightmare Fuel" to new heights.

The game is set for release in Halloween, so Cawthon's putting the hammer down and probably going to make the next 5NAF 10x as scary as the third one.

I forsee a many sleepless nights for those who viewed the spoiler.

I seen the spoiler but its not scary, looks like a stitched up scrapped animatronic

If you brighten the image, it will show the word 'NIGHTMARE' on the bottom

It looks a bit like bonnie, judging by the shape of its face. The "Was It Me?" message possibly means that Bonnie was possibly responsible for the bite of '87

Is phone guy not purple guy? I mean he was killed in the phone call, and then the flashback minigame shows the purple guy getting killed.
Or maybe phone guys just somehow pissed the animatronics off.

Well for one thing Scot sure knows how to make awesome teaser images.

There's been a lot of guesswork in that regard. The third installment clears that up though, since we clearly see Purple Guy flat-out murdered in the Springtrap suit (on the good ending).

For all we know Phone Guy was just a guy doing his job. He did nothing to tick off the animatronics, they just murdered him possibly on intent due to the fact it was the murdered children who posessed the animatronics.

Sheesh, Scott does know how to make some creepy stuff. It sounds like the 'was it me?' Is referring to the bit of 87'.

It says "Out of Order" just like what the sign in front of Pirate Cove says in the first game.

Which means 87 (duh)

This possibly means that foxy had witnessed the event, or seen the victim.

Truth be told, and I'm only saying this for the sake of saying it, I think this game is going to have a plot more akin to us controlling Purple Guy prior to Bite of '87 or Missing Children Incident. However, (and plot twist), all these animatronics are merely from his dream state, so perhaps from working at Fredbear's he experiences these gruesome hallucinations, (the dreams we play as "nights"), and by the end of it, he goes out to commit those events (being insane and all from the nightmares).

Strange theory, but if it works out to be true, I just won the "guess the plot for 5NAF4" contest. :tongueout:
