Scott said that he'll release a new update for FNaF 4 on halloween (as I heard). This sounds kinda weird. I mean, he put up the teaser that says "The End", yet there'll be a bit more to come...

Game Theory has released a video explaining why the games timeline doesn't make sense if it was realistic. What do you guys think?

Oho... Time to debunk MatPat's theory! Before that, I want to say that the bite shown in the fifth night's minigame is not the Bite of '87. I can't believe he fell for Scott's tricks. Let me show you...

First of, the timeline. After a bit of research, This game takes place 4 years prior to the incident. 1983. Let's head back to phone guy's message in the second game. He talks about the Fredbear Family Diner. The restaurant shown in the fourth game is probably the right after the diner, since it features more than one room. Also, Phone Guy never specifies the bite in the second game, meaning the bite never occured or at least aknowledged during the events of the second game (Though the messages are just recordings, but might be taken right before the game). The bite was a pretty huge thing, so Phone Guy couldn't have forgotten it or atleast he could have known about it. Another evidence is the commercial on the TV:

1983. That's before 1987 (duh)

Now, let's get to.... The Bite itself... Let's see phone guy's recording from the first game, eh? Here:

But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?

Okay, let's see... Frontal lobe... In the ending of FNaF 4, rather than having the kid's frontal lobe chomped off, his head was crushed between Fredbear's mouth. CRUSHED. Not bitten off! Freadbear could have caused the kid's head to crack, but not enough to cause serious damage to the brain. So he was still able to stay control in his coma, unlike what Matpat said, since the damage was probably not enough to cause all of that.

So yeah, I hope that Matpat gets this when he makes his other video about the timeline of FNaF 4
Very interesting theory Mint. I like it!

Also, me and Meownette were chatting on Skype about the resemblance between the kid you play as in FNAF 4 and the Marionette. We think the kid's spirit lives on in the Marionette.
We still need to consider the "Take Cake to the Children" death minigame from the second game. There was this kid, crying outside, but then killed by the purple guy (and cries much harder when this happened). The game ends with The Puppet's jumpscare. The child could have been stuffed inside the Puppet. And the kid in the fourth game is not actually dead, but living in a neverending nightmare in his coma.

Seriously. Scott is like... messing with our brains.

Scott's thank you to all of us fans.

FNaF announcement from Scott
http://steamcommunity.com/games/388090/announcements/detail/125327007944045364
According to the announcement:
- There will be no DLC. It would just be an update.
- Another game that has nothing to do with FNaF
- The box will NEVER open
I heard of that a little while back. It's a shame we will never know what was in that box, and moreso a shame that nobody could piece together the story.

Well, it had a good run, just a shame there won't be any more plot detail in regards of that box. At least we have the movie to look forward to, me hopes. :tongueout:

Not sure if multi-post applies on Off-Topic, but meh.

Last I recalled, Scott said earlier it would be a DLC, but then said it would be an update, bringing the game to 1.1, and adding a few goodies. I also saw a news article out somewhere that apparently, the community hasn't solved the puzzle for 5NAF4, and Scott said that box won't be open...ever.
