Welcome to the apocalypse thread!
The Zombie Apocalypse Alternate Universe Roleplay (ZAAURP for short reference) is, as it says, an alternate universe overrun by Zombies.
It's pretty much free game once you spawn in, do what you want, when you want. Just know a few things before you spawn in.
ZAAURP will take place BOTH in thread and in the Shoutbox. If there's something important you need to mark down, you can put it up here. If you know you won't be able to respond immediately, then put it up here. Go on either side, shouldn't really matter.
Good Luck, mates!

The ZAAURP is set in Calgary. For the record, it's just the name, since it does have several fictional additions.
The location is known for its hot/cold flashes. There's really no stable way to predict the temperature.
The main city is densely populated, but not impossible to overcome.
In the far reaches of the "map", there is a wall. Should you try to exit by jumping/climbing/breaking through this wall, you will get shot down by local authority.
Supply Crates are dropped once a day, but attract a lot of Undead attention.
Every building will have at least one zombie inside of it.
(If I missed anything, let me know )

Heat Zombies: The most common type of zombie. Greatest in number. These zombies infect in the usual way-by biting. They typically stay in groups. It's also worth noting the fact they get stronger in hotter temperature. You can set them on fire and all you'll do is aggravate them. Just, blow their brains. (Credit to @Zaliox )
Wickers: Mutated Heats. They are constantly ablaze, thanks to a change in biological material. Dangerous, slow moving, but still hard to kill. (Credit to @Dart )
Hunter Zombies: Less Common, but not rare. They have double the speed, strength, and agility of humans, but can only withstand a quarter the damage a human can. They possess several extra limbs, which help with their movements. There are Two Variations; The Stalker and the even rarer Tanker. The Stalker is the typical Hunter. The Tanker is almost exactly the same, but with one exception. They're extremely armoured, and move the same speed as their weaker, Stalker counterparts.
Scramblers: The Rabid Version of Stalkers. Much faster, much more dangerous. Prefer night over day, so if you stay in the sunlight, you'll be safe.(Credit to @Dart )
Frostbite Zombies: The rarer type of Zombie. These Zombies survive exceptionally well in the cold. They can take many hits, even decapitation, without dying. The only way to take them down is by turning them into ashes.
Titans: Yes, Titans. As in Attack On Titan Titans. 3DMG can only be obtained in Supply Crates, and Raiders love to re-purpose 3DMG. Other wise, happy Hunting. (Credit to @벤 Ben )
Raiders: There are other humans. But they're not friendly. Duck your head; they love to snipe.

Your character is your own. All we ask is, you make them human, without any magical abilities or cybernetic augmentations. In other words, a real human. Be as creative as you wish; use any profession, such as a medic, an engineer, etc. etc.
Along with this, please do follow hunger/fatigue logic. If you haven't eaten, your fatigue rate would greatly increase. You know how it works.
You can start with your weapons, armour, etc, but you will have limited ammunition and will have to find more around the city.
You can submit your character sheets here, or if you do it in the "official" "Introduce Your Characters" thread, signify it's to be used in ZAAURP for reference.
