Whats causing me to lag really bad?

First off, i dont know if this is in the right place catagory wise. So if a staff/mod thinks it belongs somewhere,please move it.

Title sums it up. I go through random periods of SEVER lag. Im talking constant crashing,aiming is bad,picking up grenades makes me crash,going into the store makes me crash,and just lag everywhere! I've been running very smooth lately,but all of a sudden im lagging really bad! And with the new update out, i cant play it cause of this! So why does this happen? Any solution? PLEASE HELP! Cause i really want to play the new update.
