Almost everywhere in the forums I see people talking about this thing called PGW and only mentioning the
acronym. What does this stand for?

Is the beta version downloadable?Ahem. PGW stands for Pixel Gun World.
Pixel Gun World is a PC game which is almost the same as PG3D. It is made by RiliSoft. Both games are almost the same. It is, however, still in the beta version, so it is still under development.
The PC market may be flooded with games of the sort, but you have to also consider what chunk of the PC market they are attacking. The amount of voxel-based shooters for PC is fairly minor, and it's a pretty good niche to stand out in for a game such as this that has legacy behind itself on the mobile platform. In no way do I see RiliSoft becoming a triple-A grade gaming company in the near future, but the PC console is full of indie games anyways. What's one more to the pile? After researching the game, and watching game play I don't think that it will be a huge success. Not as big as the mobile version. The PC market is flooded with games like this that offer more and the pc industry in general is the hardest to impress inot my opinion as the other industries such as mobile or console appeal more to the casual gamer and the young gamer than the pc. On a scale of one to ten how successful do you guys think the game will be. In my opinion aby thing bet ween 4 and 6 would be accurate.
But really does it offer anything new in particular? People won't find it innovative and if the developers go along with the pau to win model people wont grow fond of it in my opinion. In steam you can find at least 5 or 6 voxel based shooters. Each with their own way of things. Pixel gun needs to drastically improve from the mobile version. A new engine, sounds and better game play would be ideal for a game like this the engine needs a lot of work which I think they are working on or they should work on. The sounds and some of the music need to be redone and it needs more mechanics to make it interesting. I could see this game appeal to people who like voxel based games and can't afford the ones on steam. But I can't say it will appeal to a lot of people. The PC market may be flooded with games of the sort, but you have to also consider what chunk of the PC market they are attacking. What? It's PGW has a good graphic ?
I didn't really understand your question but if your asking about PGW then the answer would be no. It has the graphics of pg3d but it's way bugger. This will be fixed in the future though.i mean a smooth graphic and cool animation
It's basically a pic port.awww , i told it will be different than PG3D
Both games run on Unity, which is a fairly well-known engine (and can punch out some very nice visuals depending on what you make of it). I believe trying to change it too drastically wouldn't exactly make it Pixel Gun World, now would it? They even had a poll asking the users what console they wanted to see PG3D on next, and the exploding vote was PC.But really does it offer anything new in particular? Well, it is fairly different (for one thing, no gems). There's also different controls, and still some bugs left and right. But for the most part, it's unique enough to hold it's own for sure.awww , i told it will be different than PG3D
It will be different than mobile in some degree, however I don't see them giving up on the mobile seller quite yet. They say its going to be different than mobile, which sounds really stupid as mobile users will get agitated with all the goodies PC gets
Then prepare to wait close to 5 years.im not to excited mainly becaues i want it to be on xbox
