Transfering data over

So I want to transfer my data from my old ipod touch ( ios 6.1.6 ) to my new one ( ios 8.12 ) , but it wont work through game center when I sign in with the same details and my old account has around 1000 gold and 500 gems, so not being able to transfer would be annoying. Also, I didn't try through iCloud, worrying that if I transferred the app over, it would delete all the apps on my new one and replace it with the old ones, which would give me the data, but I wouldn't keep my other apps. I have also tried through iFunbox to transfer the apps data. Anyone know what I could do? All I really need is my coins and possibly my weapons. Thanks.
 
So you need is iCloud sign on, it's a good app for keeping data on your device to be safe, also good tip is when you lost your phone or something, you should use your iCloud on new device to get all of your old Data, don't worry, it won't delete everything you had.

So does that mean that it wont overwrite the apps on my new ipod for the pixel gun 3d app on my old one ( that's the only app I have on my old one ) ?

Well basically... It can transfer all data for example like I had my old phone and I have iCloud log-in and I got new device and so I go sign in my account for iCloud then it will transfer data and make sure you have to use account for AppStore. Hope this works.

Thanks alot for your help, i now have my weapons and everything :smile: The only thing is i dont have my coins and gems, and im pretty sure i spent about £100 on iap. Should i reset my device?
