Thoughts and opinions over the Ebola outbreak?

What's your thoughts and opinions concerning the Ebola outbreak? My opinion is that they should have kept the Ebola patients in a state with the smallest population. I find it a little insane that they would bring one (even though he turned out to be negative through a test) and place him right in the middle of New York.

Oh Satan, its gonna be Plaque Inc all over again

Thoughts on the fact they brought an ebola-patient to a high-security facility:

I agree with Termy, they're just setting this thing up to be an outbreak/epidemic. However, the patient is being held in a Stage 5 laboratory (which is safe-guarded 100% so that no contagions can get out, I mean like iron doors with airtight locks, hazmat suits, etc.). Incredibly, there are only 3 Stage 5 laboratories, 2 in the US, and 1 in Canada.

However, there is no such thing as a cleaner getting rid of "100% germs and bacteria", so there is still the smallest chance possible for human error. Now if they moved the patient to the Arctic, or some barren tundra with no local populace within 100 miles, then I'd feel a tad more safer.
