I won't tell you how to do this (in public of course), but here's what it looks like...

It expires in 366 days. And no, I didn't spam-buy it (that'll take me decades to do).
 
I believe it has something to do with system time settings... in which case I cant do because Amazon don't let you adjust your time. Instead I have to choose a time zone.

It has been confirmed. Your time had to be set back in order for it to work. It must be always set back or it will revert to its original time limit. If you run out of days, setting it back will not 'revive' it.

Do as you wish with this glitch.

Edit:I did it and now it says 1905 days left yay!to sad I didn't do ot with the sniper rifle too :confused:

What if you set the date FOWARD then rent it then switch the date back. What will happen then?
 
Something to let you guys know, This can also be done to get another day if you it's last second on the 30% 2 day discounts.
 
Forgot to mention the pros and cons of this glitch...
Pro: Extends the time it takes until the gun expires.
Con: Can't use Google, unable to download apps, and alarms may go off at the wrong time (recommended date is X/X/2009 if you want to resolve the latter)
 
I KNOW A SOLUTION TO THE CONS!!!!! SET THE DATE TO 2020 OR WHATEVER THEN RENT THE GUNS!!!!!! SET THE DATE BACK TO NORMAL AND YOU HAVE THE GUNS FOR 8000 DAYS!!!!! YOU CAN USE YOUTUBE, GOOGLE, APP STORE, ETC.
