So, basically, I am aware that PG3D is like 1% teamwork, and the rest is running/jumping around and shooting at each other. Today I am here to say that PG can actually survive on a team-based formula. (I doubt it though)
I think that these situations are never gonna happen. Ever.
Here you go:
1. Taking cover
Even though this may seem retarded since the game has shoot-through-wall weapons, this can help conceal your location and expose you less from enemy fire. Peek outside at times to check out the enemy positions or to fire quick bursts. If there happens to be lots of cover in the area you are in, like D-Day, use that to your advantage. When behind cover you have the freedom to chat with your fellow comrades without being easily shot at.
2. Breaching
Breaching is a real life tactic in where one soldier throws a grenade into a room or detonates the door, then all of the soldiers go in and clear the room with their weapons. To do this in PG3D have a couple allies follow you, then "stack up" or line up at the side of a doorway. Either you or one of your allies should throw a grenade into the room, then all of you should go into the room with a shotgun or assault rifle or something that can quickly kill people in quick succession, then that's it. If you run straight into the room you're gonna die. Breaching in Paradise Resort can be effective since the hotel building has multiple rooms, great for breaching.
3. Flanking
Let's say that your team is pinned down from an enemy position. The enemy has a peacemaker and is mowing down everyone. How are you gonna counter its unstoppable power and rate of fire? Easy. Flank his/her position by finding a way around the enemy. When you get behind the enemy position kill him/her quick before he/she has time to turn around and kill you. Flanking with teammates is required in order to secure the enemy position. If you flank by yourself, chances are you will be able to kill the enemy gunner, but more enemies can come, which will easily overwhelm you.
4. Dealing with jetpacks
Let's say your team is pushing forward against the other team, when suddenly one of the enemies possesses a jetpack and takes flight to the skies. As soon as this happens, RUN TOWARDS COVER IMMEDIATELY. By cover I mean indoors. When this happens you can ask your team to come over to where you are. At different times the team should peak out and try to pick off the jetpack user using a long-range weapon. If you or your teammates are killed they should go back to that area again. By the way, your team should also look out for other enemies who are still on the ground. To fix this, erect turrets around your cover.
I will add more soon.
