So there's an update in the playstore. I heard they took out the armor and added in a buncha new guns and stuff.

Can anyone tell me if the old coin system is back?

EDIT:
After playing a couple of multiplayer matches with the 8.1.0, here's my input:
-Any of your purchased armor(s) in the old version will vanish as well as the coins you wasted on said armor(s), and replacing it(s), is an upgradable armor (upgrade availability is level dependent).
-Elephant Hunter is now accessable.
-Some guns and melee weapons that were classified before as premium/special types had been moved to primary/melee type.
-Bigger command buttons (fire, jump, reload, grenade).
-Survival is still the same (one coin per level completion).
-New armor designs.
-New guns? Needs to be confirmed.
-Jump boots design has been changed.
-Some guns require you to be at a certain level for it to be upgraded.
-CONFIRMED: MAGIC WAND IS NOW A ONESHOT WEAPON! Yes! Yes! Yes!

8.1.0 just came out for android today :eek:
I dont know if the old coins system is back because im on ios
 
They took away diamond armor, now only wood armor is availible that gives you 1 health. I spent 600 coins on my armor, not happy about that going to waste.
 
Uh oh, here's what I'm hearing from PG3D's Facebook page (I'm on iOS too):

1.) Getting word people are complaining wands and bows are 1HKO (NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!)
2.) New weapons, already? Restless fanbase is pushing RiliSoft too much IMO
3.) RiliSoft had better come through on the "tons of coins in the new update" thing, because if what I hear is true, I've just wasted 600 coins on armor.
4.) If RiliSoft doesn't mind taking out diamond armor, which was worth 600 coins, hopefully they won't mind cutting wands and bows too.
5.) I'm hearing 50 XP boosts for getting all the kills (what?)
 
Yes, the armor situation is a drag, and now the freeze ray is 510 coins. On the bright side, they fixed all the bugs, added a new Armageddon upgrade, a new grenade launcher that is called the fire starter, got rid of the bar system that determines the stats and replaced it with numbers. They made a new sound for equipping weapons and a cha Ching sound when you buy a weapon. I'm sure they added more stuff. I'm on iOS so I don't know much more than that for now. If I learn more I will update you guys as soon as I find out.
 
Ok so I have an update for you all, so they still have the diamond armor in the game, but if you have no armor you have to upgarde starting out from the wood armor instead of just buying the different armors like it is now. False alarm, we still get to be tanks :smile:. On the bad side, I heard magical weapons 1 shot an unarmored opponent now. So now I will be 2 shotted by noobs. :tongueout:

I know it's so op. The community has been crying out to nerf or remove magic weapons, and what rilisoft does it buff them so that nobody stands a chance anymore. I predict many people will leave pixel gun because of this.
 
It's not a multi post. I am giving you my opinion on what rilisoft is doing with their game, and I tell you what I've heard on facebook as I find out about more things. Sorry if I offended you in any way or made you take a few seconds to click the trash button in your email.

Great news, although if I were a mod I would have banned you for giving me a heart attack :tongueout: jk. Magic weapon buff sounds awful, I think already said that, but there's no harm saying the truth twice. There must be something bigger to it, like maybe range is greatly decreased. I personally thought the Armageddon weapon upgrade was unnecessary, it's powerful enough and balanced as it is. I hope they also added a sound for picking up grenades, there never seemed to be one when I played.

Well I guess the update will come out in about 5 or 3 days because for some reason i waited 8.0.0 update like 3 or 4 days atleast. Google play gets updates faster because a lot of people use android i dont know if theres more people using android than people using IOS well the update might come soon so you can wait for about a few days or something i dont know a lot of things about android

I believe Android has faster sending new update but IOS takes a lot of while to get send it off on the Internet.
 
Well, I'm not sure if Pixel Gun is changing for the better or for the worse. We'll just have to see where the developers take the game at this point.
