Let me tell you a story

This is story about how an amazing game was forced to it's knees because of money.

It was years ago. The mobile game industry was plagued. Plagued by free games that would cost the players who played them thousands. There was almost no skill involved in any game anymore. All genres had in game purchases which gave unfair advantages to players who had them, and allowed them to defeat the players who spent loads more time and had much more skill. It wouldn't matter what game. There rarely was one without these in game purchases as those were extremely rare. This was an era of people dropping money in a machine just to see it fall down to a pile.
But not all was bad. A game was born. Borrowing looks from Minecraft and having mechanics of its own a zombie survival game was created. It was amazing. It cost money to buy it but it was worth the time you had fun with it. Constant stream of updates kept the game fresh, with new maps, weapons and mechanics. Multiplayer was introduced, making the game a very popular hit. The skilled won so people who relied on cheating using money learnt how to play the game. But this was the peek of the game. Soon it became free to play.
After being free to play, the game had an entire stream of players, loving and enjoying the game without spending a dime. However this came at a cost. There was now, purchasable currency. However unlike other games, there was only one currency and as long as you had enough skill and determination, nothing could beat you. Soon updates came along, updates listening to the naive part of its fan base wanting more weapons and ignoring the wise ones. These weapons were incredibly overpowered. It would give even more of an edge to the rich unskilled user. The old timers or the skilled part of the community lessened in numbers while the other part grew tremendously. These weapons would give the start to noobs. People who won without trying.
Soon more unbalanced weapons came along and then one of the most overpowered things in history of this game was added. Armor. In the beginning it was nice and had its weaknesses but soon they buffed it. People buying it and becoming invincible. A stream of children came to play at this point and the wise and skilled players dramatically decreased in numbers. It just knowing that you spent loads of hour into the game, learning everything about it and becoming skilled at it is not enough for victory. Someone with but a fraction of your playtime could destroy you. Knowing that just poured salt into the open wound of those who originally bought the game.
Soon some of the younger part of the player base started the group known as daters. Those who would go against what the game stood for to satisfy their unquenchable thirst for dating. These people were the mod horniest kids you could find on the web put together.
This was a dark time for Pixel Gun 3D. Gems were added. A premium currency which gave edge to those who paid the most. Then power ups, giving more of an unfair advantage to the unskilled but rich. This was the point for the creators to make a decision. Stick with their path of giving the biggest advantage to the highest bidder or making the game take actual skill.
They added more armor and more overpowered weapons, fully giving in to money.
Greed is powerful. The moral of this story is that greed can lure people to do things like these. Things like helping the newest of people and stabbing the most loyal of fans in the back. This is the story of Pixel Gun 3D

This is so true , you can't win a death match without paying these days just seeing rich kids spamming mechs and turrets makes me sick

Money is power. I think Rilisoft took it literally.

The turrent buyers are useful. Turrents count as kill if you didn't know. So when they start hacking gems to buy turrents, its just like setting up free kills. Just use a sniper. Prototype is good, but easily trace able after 2 shots. Use the Impulse or Sunrise
