I know there's a math behind it, but I believe it is based on subscriber count and per thousand views. So let's say a YouTuber who makes two videos daily, averages 50K+ views, and has a subscriber base around 2-300K+. On a weekly basis, he's probably racking in $1-2K. To put it in perspective, a YouTuber such as that can afford a car as well as living costs (presuming you aren't in a freaking expensive city, i.e., LA.)

I personally recommend ketchup for potato chips, as I've never had mustard before, and know that ketchup flavoured potato chips taste good. :tongueout:

Sounds pretty cool. I'll finally be able to see what all the hype surrounding Valiant Comics is all about (assuming the movie gets produced).

I still fear though it'll be obliterated in the box office by the likes of Marvel and DC. Although if it could time its release between DC and Marvel's films, then it stands to reason Valiant could develop a foothold in the cinematic realm, assuming it does well anyway.

Why do you still have to wait for the movies when you can read the comics instead?

But do the links below and the fact that Eric Heisserrer (Screenwriter of critically acclaimed and Oscar Nominated film "The Arrival") is going to be writing the movie as well?

I'd prefer to see the movie than binge-read a bunch of comics. As it is I've never read a single Marvel/DC Comic (other than Dark Knight Returns, and the comics that followed Green Lantern: The Animated Series). As it stands I rarely read much of anything these days (comics included), so probably won't read them still.

And I've seen The Arrival. It was a really good take on a modern scenario regarding if aliens suddenly appeared. If Eric is doing the doing the screenplay, you have my interest piqued.

If they can follow the decently wise words of BlackPanthaa, then yes I think the game would turn out awesome.

Based on what you know of the Valiant Comics Universe, which character appeals and interests you the most?

    Probably.
If I'm honest, there aren't many characters (or at least, many from my knowledge) that interest me all that much. Blame Marvel and DC Comics for that, but I find Valiant just doesn't bring an entire lot to the table, but yet again, I haven't seen any visual mediums of the characters outside of the comics.

I guess what I'm saying mainly is, Marvel and DC Comics have many variations of their superheroes. For instance, I could like Iron Man from the Cinematic Universe, but dislike him from the Earth's Mightiest Heroes continuity (which in all fairness, I kind of do). Valiant only seems to have one continuity for their heroes, to my knowledge anyway. Perhaps if there was more variations regarding some of the heroes, there's a chance I could pick an interest in a variant of a character.

Well there are a few to my knowledge.

Acclaim or VH2 (Characters are redefined to be easily adapted into videogames)
Classic 90's Valiant or VH1 (first incarnation of the Valiant Universe)
Modern Valiant or VEI (Started in 2012 by X-O Manowar, a time displaced Visigoth with alien armor and is still going strong now)
Valiant High (Valiant Universe redefined as a high-school setting)
Stalinverse (It did take place in one continuity and most, not all, of what happened were reset back to normal, but it did give some different insights on some of the characters in the universe)
Vanquished (which is suppose to be "a high-stakes action-adventure RPG show based in the superhero universe of Valiant Comics.")
Watched it a little, but did not go too far. I will share the link in case if you are interested.

Unfortunately for you, most of the aforementioned variations are told in the comics medium for now.

You can play the classic Shadowman and Turok (who is now owned by another comic company called Dynamite) game or that Iron Man and X-O Manowar crossover game for now and wait for the upcoming Ninjak VS. Valiant Universe web-series by Batinthesun (which stars Michael Rowe, Jason David Frank, Ciera Foster, John Morrison, and others).

Do all guns deal more damage to the target at closer ranges?

Some projectile actually deal far more damage at long range than short range. A prime example of this would be anti-armor/incendiary rounds or .50 caliber ammunition. Such ammo needs to travel at a distance to have a far greater impact on a target than it would close range. To put it in perspective, an 50. caliber bullet wound go through a person and fatally injure them point blank. At a distance it would essentially explode upon impact and indefinitely kill the person.

Are Revolvers deadlier at close range or at a further range?

Once again it varies on ammo. Now if yer going Dirty Harry with a .44 Magnum, that thing is basically a one-handed shotgun. It'll still hurt at long range, but up close you'll deal some extreme damage. Alternatively, if yer using a Smith & Wesson 647 Varminter (a real long range revolver), you'll land some solid damage at long range, but up close the bullets would have less impact.

Another thing to factor in here (and this goes with all ammo), some bullets actually require resistance to heat up the actual round (longer bullet travel, more heat to cause more damage). Long range ammo types and incindiary ammunition in particular rely on this build up of heat as the bullet travels to cause more damage.

(Note that what I'm saying is mild speculation at best, and not everything I say can be taken for granted, or so I assume. If you want to know more about firearms and such I'd simply recommend popping the questions into Google, as there are far more knowledgable resources out there for this topic than I am.)

If by arcade you mean a rail shooter (where movement is predetermined by the game and the player simply shoots), then I'd prefer realistic. If you mean more of a TF2/Quake-style shooter, I'd still say realistic. Reason being I'm not much of an acrobatic player in shooters to begin with. :tongueout:

Eh, nothing big at the moment, mainly Worlds Adrift, but I gotta wait for the debs to release another Beta batch before I can buy a copy. Really looking forward to Project Cars 2, SWBF2, GT Sport (finally, after preordering since Christmas), and NFS Payback, all of which will be going to my PS4, because I has no sim/racing friends on Steam/PC. :pensive:

Eh, don't really got a favourite. :tongueout:
