Alright, I know that this is kind of a childish question, but how do you wait around a week for Christmas???

I've been getting really, REALLY bored recently and it has been tedious to wait knowing that one of the best holidays is so close, yet so far...

Thanks for any help

I don't wait.

1.Pass your time. Find something that you can really get into. On the weekends you might want to do something active, like rock climbing, or taking dancing lessons. If sports aren't your thing, try something else- whatever you enjoy doing. It's important to find something that you enjoy doing because time passes by really quickly.
2. Consider your close relationships. If you have a boyfriend or girlfriend or really close friend, it may make you less likely to want to leave. This will be a tough situation to deal with. On the other hand, a close relationship can distract your attention.
3. Spot similarities between your place and your vacation. Find things that your vacation location has to offer that your home also does. For example, if you're going to Italy, and you want to havereal pizza, don't go to that Pizza Hut, but go to a classic restaurant in your city. But don't do this excessively. If you do, you won't appreciate your vacation spot as much.
4. Countdown days until christmas. This shows you that time is really passing by, fast. However, for some people, counting the days until chirstmas arrives only makes time seem to slow down. Try forgetting about the future and get involved in the current activities. Before you know it, christmas's here!

Go apeship and do all of your school assignments up until the 23rd. Then play games until the 24th. Then socialize with relatives who happen to come down to your house for Christmas.

For me, I've got a crap-load of work to do this week, so I won't be bored really. :tongueout:

As I am posting this: it is the 20th, only 5 more days

This is weird, it seemed like the wait was a LOT longer, yet at the same time I legitimately remember thanksgiving like it was a couple days ago.
