Could be leaving

Basically I am thinking about leaving the forums permanently, and I want you guys to know.

I have lots of problems. My grandma died last night, I accidentally broke the wedding photo of my parents (Luckily they had a spare one and I wasn't grounded). Plus, my mom went full rage on me because she just recently found out about this account. Apparently I forgot to delete my history...

She says that there might be stalkers on this forum and that the people who register accounts on gaming forums are idiots. I strongly disagree.

Besides, the reason why I've been less active lately is because I go to camp during summer in an aquarium, and I educate small kids about marine life. It's fun. They have internet in their cafe so that's where I go to play PG3D or browse the forums.

So, I hope you guys understand. I'll be secretly typing from my phone until I find a way to return to using my iPad for the forums. If my problems overwhelm me, I guess I'm gonna leave the forums permanently.

*facepalm* Really? Why would your mom thinks that this forum all of members are stalkers or idiots? There's just a rule about personal information such as sharing locations. But we all never ever do that, Spambot? Yeah, they are idiot and easy way to get banned.

While your mother is right in a slim way, gaming forums can be used for stalking, she is aware this forum is playing a game aimed at the 9-12 age group, yes? I mean sure, I am 18 and all, but by no means am I a stalker. Yes, forums such as these can be used for stalking, but still, do you know how often that occurs? Maybe once or twice a year is such an event made public to a news station, and even then, while the odds are there, they are immeasurably slim.

I'm quite aware of the Internet being filled with weird and completely stupid people, but we aren't those people. We are probably of the minority who are actually smart and joyful most of the time on the Internet.

Sorry, didn't mean to ramble like that, just when situations like this arise I tend to rant a bit about such absurd issues that while still possible, almost never happen to places such as this.

Anyways, have fun with camp, and I hope to see ya around still, DSB. :smile:
