The overall visual fidelity of the massive video game hit Minecraft isn’t entirely beautiful, but it’s definitely endearing. Its blocky textures had made many a fan out of casual and hardcore gamers. Ever since Minecraft has taken off, several video game releases have tried to replicate the look/formula that has made that game such a success.

One of the games we’ve grown to love is the the mobile zombie first-person shooter Pixel Gun 3D. There’s zombies, blood, gore and Minecraft-like visuals.

Here’s 10 tips and cheats that will help you thrive in the blocky zombie apocalypse.

1. Get to Know the Basics Behind The Game

Pixel Gun 3D is a first person shooter where players can take control of a character that would have to survive against an endless horde of zombies. Gameplay takes place in different areas that players can travel to via portal once the previous location has been cleared. Players can access different types of weapons in order to shoot the many appearing zombies, and they must avoid getting damaged too much or they would have to repeat the game from the very beginning should they die.

2. Try and Memorize the Layout of Each Map

Each map in this game comes with a fixed layout, which means that these maps stay the same ever time you enter them. Try and recognize the most beneficial and helpful locations that will help in getting you an easier spot to shoot from. By combining your knowledge of safer locations and zombies’ enemy behaviors, you should have an easier time staying alive. Don’t get caught in a corner; memorize those spots that will protect you from the undead and let you blast them to bits much easier.

General Tips to Reach Highest Score for Pixel Gun 3D

Here are some excellent gameplay tips from onClan for Pixel Gun 3D. I'm pleased to show you how to maximize your experience and reach the highest score.

All users may submit tips, however there are rules to this:

  • No restating tips that have already been mentioned
  • No stating tips about weapons or mobs, only community-based info
And so, let the tips commence:
  • Pixel Gun servers have an odd sense of irony to them. Opening or joining a server labeled "No killing" in hopes of luring or finding weak and naive players will tend to get you the complete opposite. -Submitted by Chaotix
  • When playing Co-Op in Parkour City, you generally want to be on the Red team. The Red team can spawn in a bricked building that grants easy camping access to the Blue team's roof-top spawn point, and building spawn point. This allows for some Red team players to camp in the structure, easily picking off players one by one. If however you wind up on the Blue team, it's best to leave your spawn point ASAP, otherwise you will risk being spawn killed repetitively. -Submitted by GoldMan27
  • There is a stairway glitch on Mafia Mansion. It can be achieved by having your character walk with half of their body on the steps, and half off. Walk upwards until you can no longer climb up (in which you will briefly be stuck). It takes a few tries to get it, but when you do, your player will drop down with half their body in the wall. Simply move into the wall, and you will have full access under the house. Keep in mind, this can only work on the set of stairs to the left when you enter the house. -Submitted by GoldMan27
  • By using the Rocket Jump technique, players can propel themselves higher upwards, allowing for them to achieve great heights in maps. This technique works in every map, and can only be performed with the Anti-Gravity Blaster, Apocalypse 3000, Nuclear Launcher, Armageddon, Grenade Launcher, and the Firestorm G2. -Submitted by GoldMan27
  • Don't bother counting the number of people who try to impersonate other people.Chanes are, the 7 Calobi, Skydoesminecraft, and Deadlox named players in the server are not the real deal. Best to shoot,win, and move on. No questions asked. -Submitted by Chaotix

WTF THIS INFO IS 2 YEARS OLD
 
And also to add on to my dont stand and shoot post. Standing there in the open,with a prototype,missing everyshot to snipe,still standing there in full zoom,and making yourself look like you dont know what you're doing,until BOOM! You die. And another tip!

Don't be so predictable! I dont know about you,but i've played with players who are so predictable where they are going to snipe or just kill people. Flag capture is TOO easy. Not because it tells you whohas the flag,but everyone on Two Castles wants to go down through the stupid underground tunnel. Apparently,they don't realize they are at a higher threat of getting kill down there vs, go up the bidle above ground. Think about it,small long tunnel. Nowhere to run or change direction. No where to hide.
