Hiding armor?

Rilisoft has added an option to hide your armor.It is nice because this way you can have your skin visable and still be protected.Of course it doesnt work you can still see it but its enough for your skins to show.
i dont have any screenshots so a little help would be thankfull.Post your thoughts below.

Well, I must say there could be the problem where you may have noobs hiding their armour in order to make others think that they are not wearing any armour so that they could claim that they are pros. It is a nice feature, but I think it could possibly be abused in the way I've described.

The newbies might think that other people who have armour on and are hidden would probably be hacking because they can't take that much damage without armour

though I have to admit that'd be incredibly fun to troll with lel

Why would Rilisoft add Hide armor? IS is because that some idiots thinks that you're hacking that you're so strong while you have Armor hidden.

So far NOBODY reported me and I have a gold chestplate on...so I think they know you have armor on. I have seen a few people that did the hide option for their armors.

I'm decked out in ruby and have it set to hidden. I have yet to be accused of hacking by anyone.

That's odd... Maybe they know and the hiding armor thing is a big way to cause some hacking propaganda for those that don't know about this

Hide armor or not, you will still be 1 shot by prototype. Because thats the only way to get ruby armor kills.

Or use grenades, AGB, Armageddon, plasma releaser, predator shotgun, turrets, laser gun, etc.

Those are way too weak to kill a ruby armored player fast enough.

I use the Armageddon a lot against RAP. It does a pretty good job too.

No, I'm pretty sure the main reason why they chose to add this feature was because people that had made unique skins were not able to show it off whilst playing.

Yes exactly right, so others will become aware of what armor you are using after the first death. While there is an element of stealth advantage, I think the main reason was for cosmetic purposes.

Or 2 body shots with the prototype, 2 head shots with the elephant hunter, a second and a half with high voltage or 3 shots with the overcharged blaster. Those are usually the most effective ways to take down a player fully clad in ruby armor.
