Friends bug

So recently today I started up pixel as usual. When I went to check my friends list to see if any are online, all of my friends got the default skin and the highest level with no names. To see if this would of worked I went to a server and made some friends. But no friend requests.. I closed the game and left it about a few hours and checked if it was normal. Unfortunately it was still the same. Any ideas to fix this? :pensive:
 
Ways To Fix:-
(Not an expert,but try these ways :smile:)


As you have made friend's before,I assume your an android player.
Please try these ways to fix this:-
1) Restore your Backedup file (Using Backup softwares,Etc){If you have'nt backed up your device,you should start doing it now}
2)Reboot your device
3) Try sending people requests and check if you are added.
4)Attach your Device to the computer and view the files inside.Check for some requests in the library[Device < Pixel Gun 3D<Library].If only skins and and some content is present,This will not work.
5)E-mail Rilisoft and tell them aout this(Also specify your i.p address and in-game name and level)

If you have tried all these steps and have'nt gotten your friend list back,I'm sorry I could'nt help.

Happened to me before, maybe because I have slow net, or maybe because I'm offline. Maybe try to load a few times, make sure you have a strong internet, and maybe it will be fixed.
 
Opening the app files will do nothing to help with the Friend's List, since that is an online feature, with Friends stored in a database on a server elsewhere. I'd recommend what Remix suggested though.

I have a decent WiFi connection so I don't think it has to be WiFi..

With number three my friends tell me I'm in their friends list but I cannot see them. With number 5 I don't think that would be much help since rilisoft are inactive on social websites. To my conclusion I might have to uninstall my game and install it therefore I can play with friends again.

Keep in mind here, the players who answered you were 2 iOS users, and an Android user with a bad connection. I'd recommend asking Chaotix or Geargirl to help you out.

I got it sorted. I uninstalled the game and installed it again. The downside was I have to claw my way back to level 13.

I feel sorry for you Plazma.It isnt so tough but there will be a feel of regret until you get up there again!
 
Well, if I had to say anything, it's that this glitch that had a tendency to happen during the early updates with the Friends System. If you play a while on the app, the friends list would come back up eventually. From what you said, it seems like you started the app and went directly to your Friends List, which still need to gather data from other players (Since the Friends List does not start up along with the app or you'd expect to see an even longer start-up screen.)
In short, you didn't really have to uninstall. You could have just waited for the Friends List to come up. Or just send your prob to Rilisoft's website, since not having a Friends List won't ruin the game (People were using a Friend-Less Pixel Gun 3D since the app was created long ago, you know).
 
I had a glitch too!(HAD) Got cured after today's Update released.It was in the friends list.I COULDNT SEE ANYONE!
Luckily Now,I have Friends :tongueout:
 
Funny, I have the same friend list glitch as you, Cindy.

Hopefully Rilisoft will fix this up soon, it's becoming bothersome that I only have Hidden and some random dude as my friends on there.
 
I had all my friends in my friend list then I turn off my device then I came back and play pixel gun 3d all my friends are gone and when someone add me it doesn't show the request

I tried to reboot and press the home button twice and delete it but still same someone plz help me

Well, chances are that it's a minor glitch that I spoke about earlier. However, it it's truly hindering your gameplay, I suggest you send your device info and problem here.

happened to me once. i fixed it with a good internet connection（what im saying is that u have bad internet connection）
