Don't Take Away Bows and Wands - Make Them Better!

Hey @RiliSoft, in my opinion the reason why bows and wands have been getting a ton of hate in the game is because they haven't been balanced, and people think they take no skll to kill people with. I have a couple ideas that would make bows and wands more balanced.

Idea A: This idea would be just a very small fix to the bows and wands. Keep the damage (not the 8.1.1 one-shot damage, which I think you already said was a bug), but decrease the fire rate just a bit, and allow the opposing team to see the name tag of the person using magical weapons. Wand has unlimited ammo still but can overheat, requiring a cooldown period of 5 seconds.

Idea B: This idea would take a lot more work, but I believe maybe even people who despise wands and bows might actually get around to using them.
Wands:
I mentioned in another thread that maybe wands and bows should have a charge up function. I still think that but, with a twist. Charging up for about 3 seconds fully charges the wand so that the shot has splash damage and push force, but still shoots through walls. It would be nice to see a smoke animation similar to the red mist when firing the Cherry Bomb. ROF would be pretty slow though, which balances it out, and maybe Overcharged Blaster-level damage. It will have a maximum charge of 24 shots (on par with similar grenade launchers and rockets), but starts out with 12 shots. However it's a wand so only one clip, no reloading. The charge up will have to be utilized, or else the shot only does half damage and can't wallbang.
Bows:
Fire bow isn't very fiery now, is it? I don't think fire damage would be a good idea at this point of the game, given the low HP most players have, but instead we can do this. The Bow charges for only 1.5 seconds before delivering a wallbang shot with a fiery arrow trail. A fully charged shot does only a little bit of damage, maybe two hearts of damage, but here's the catch. For 3-5 seconds after hitting its target, all teamates of the person shooting the bow can see the target's nametag. This would be a very useful anti-sniper weapon, to point out that camper that's been gunning down the team all game, and hopefully keeps the balance of the game in the process. The bow, being less of an offensive weapon, would, like the wand, have only one "clip" (more like a quiver), starting out with 30 shots, maxing out at 60.

Anyways, I hope @RiliSoft takes this into consideration. This would change a bit part of the game, and also get rid of the complaints that the wands and bows are nooby. More people will begin to think of the bow and wand as actually legit weapons, and maybe even use them. So, what do you guys think?

I agree with EVERYTHING in this suggestion, except the fact that you split Idea A and B.
I would rate this a 11.5/5 stars. Seriously, this is would balance the game so much, I might start playing DM again.

Sir you earned my respect. I also want rilisoft to decrease the damage of magic weapons to 1 damage, rather than a chunk of health taken from magic.
 
If the bows and the wands didnt have the wall penetration ability then plz keep them. I just don't like the fact that they hit someone your not even aiming directly at. And arrows dont go through walls last time i checked. But still. Overheat thing is a good idea as long as it is still cooling down even if u switch weapons.
 
Sounds like a pretty feasible idea. Nice idea about the overheating thing and those ways to balance the wallbangers. If Rilisoft agrees to this I realy salute you for that.
