Anyone else agree with what Anonymous stands for?

Well, Anonymous is a much like a group of people. The group has gained notoriety for many different hackings which have had a positive effect for many different reasons. However, liked many groups comprised of people, the true Anonymous members are not the ones who create these banners and videos. It's mainly people who treat the name as a logo and advertise it, despite not actually having any participation in activity related to the group.

So, in short, I agree with what Anonymous does, just not what that image implies that Anonymous does.
 
To be honest, I'm indifferent on the matter, and I'm also deciding whether or not to lock this topic, since this could possibly fall under the rule that states:
  • Avoid political and religious topics.
But like I said, I'm indifferent on the debate here, if you guys think it does disobey the rule, I'l lock it. Otherwise, discuss amongst yourselves, and try not to spark a flame war.
