Any recording app will always lag unless you have a fast device, but the best one to use is Display Recorder.If you have it and it lags a lot change the video quality to 1.5 Mbps or 2 mbps.

If your not going to use a capture card I'd jailbreak it and download RecordScreen from cydia.

If your still on ios 6 you can download RecordMyScreen.Before you start you need to change the date to 2012.After that go to http://www.emu4ios.net,find RecordMyScreen and click on instal.After the download is finished you can change the date back to 2014.
