I updated my desktop again. In the end, I found Rainmeter just wasn't doing it for me (I wound up using my taskbar more than the icons on the screen). So, I simply have the Recycle Bin launcher and Desktop folder on my desktop (with a nice background):
For those unaware (or wondering), the wallpaper is actually concept art from Need For Speed: Carbon (with a concept of Yumi's character standing in front of a customized Porsche Carerra GT).

How the heck do you find stuff in that screen so fast? It'd be a nightmare for me to try and find a game I wanted to play, or an application I needed to run.no
